REINZ AWARDS
(PME sound supplied sound system with operator and special transducers for stringed instrument amplification to amplify Starlight Strings at The Auckland Museum)

Hi Robyn

We were thrilled with Steve's efforts for us yesterday at the Hollywood Cinema. Our vocalist was well pleased with the sound and the way he managed to tastefully amplify Rosie's voice, ensuring it could still be heard over the power of the Wurlitzer pipe organ.

It was a bit of a sad day for us as we received notice that the Hollywood is on the market to be sold by tender and we have been instructed to have the Wurlitzer pipe organ removed by September 30!! No easy job.

We had a dixie-band show in November with the organ and were going to use your services again, but this show together with our other events for 2015 will have to be cancelled.

The Wurlitzer pipe organ sings for the last time in the Hollywood on Sunday August 30.

Kind regards

James Duncan - Wurlitzer Organ Trust of Auckland

Hi Pete

The evening went off without any problems and the sound system behaved accordingly. I wanted to personally thank and say that George did a wonderful job and I found him most accommodating and helpful!

We would certainly use your service again in the future!

Hi Pete,
Thanks so much for doing such a brilliant job on the sound at the Zoo last Thursday- it was the most enjoyable outdoor gig I've done in a long while, and largely due to having such a good sound, onstage as well as out front!(usually it's the performers that suffer, not the audience).

Cheers and thanks for the brilliant job you did on sound last night.
Great feedback (ha ha) from everyone who attended.

Hi there Pete,
Please extend my thanks on behalf of the Events Management team, to Jai for doing such a great job on Saturday. Set up was carried out efficiently (given the time frame pressures) and he was very accommodating in working with University Staff and volunteers throughout the event, to ensure that all activities were well broadcast.
The only glitch that I experienced was the lack of transmission via the radio mic when it was required for the Graffitti Competition outside the Atrium. However this was more of a distance in relation to the transmitor issue, rather than an operational issue and we improvised at the time.
So thanks once again, and we will certainly consider Pete McGregor Music for services in the future.
Kind Regards

June Clewett (Events coordinator Massey University Sept 2003)

Thanks Pete, as I said last night everything went perfectly - you guys were great to deal with throughout, the equipment was of a very high quality and was set up and taken away with no hassles at a very good price. Your excellent service basically made our job much easier. Glenn was great to deal with and did a very thorough professional job of mixing the sound. Will definitely use you guys again if the occasion comes up!
thanks

Hello Pete,
I would like to pass on my sincere thanks for the wonderful job you did on Saturday night.
Could you please also pass on a huge big thanks to the Beat Girls - they were wonderful!! They made the night the big success that it was. Everyone raved.
Looking forward to next year already!
Thank you once again.
