Carnival Band (Also known as Guggemusik)

Large carnival band specialising in making a BIG IMPACT and creating a festival atmosphere at your event. The crowd love their bright bold costumes as the carnival band take on popular songs.

Carnival Band are a mobile act, typically they walk amongst the audience and play to them on their level (they do not require a stage or any equipment). This really engages the audience. They are popular amongst young and old with a variety of songs from oldies like Neil Diamond, to popular artists like Coldplay and also can do some kids songs if there are children in the crowd.

Typically, the band play sets that last for 20-30 minutes for maximum impact and crowd entertainment, this can be useful when the stage bands are taking a break or changing over. Or if you want a musical interlude between speakers or performers. Carnival Band can play multiple times at the same event.

Their past events include, beer festivals, The Easter Show, Birdman events, victory parades for All Blacks and Americas Cup, rugby & football games, MOTAT night lights, corporate events and retirement village performances.

The band is a traditional Swiss Carnival band started in Auckland 40 years ago and has played at many Swiss weddings & birthday parties.

At night they can add fairy lights to their costumes and instruments for a special effect.

Carnival Band can dress as wizards, frogs, penguins, kiwifruit..and some kiwi birds, and beerfest.

Check out the varied song list.

The band members all have day jobs, so are taking bookings for evenings or weekends only.
