Malcolm McCallum

Mal is a versatile performer, and is able to satisfy a number of performance requirements. His repertoire ranges from early evening or quieter function events, with tunes from Elton John, Crowded House, James Taylor and a range of easy listening favourites, through to more uptempo, pop, classic rock, blues and swing.

He can perform solo, or provide duo, trio or 4 or 5 piece band. Mal plays piano as well as being able to play bass and piano split keyboard, and also plays acoustic and electric guitar.

His original songs cover influences from folk to reggae, acoustic and electric, blues and ballads, and are songs of a generally positive and uplifting nature, songs about the heart, from the heart, and the roads we have all travelled.

Mal has played at many corporate events from 50 to 10,000 people as well as weddings, birthdays and private parties.

Malcolm recently appeared in the TV show "Stars in Their Eyes"

50th Wedding Anniversary

Hi
Wow Malcolm was amazing. He played for a lot longer so we will need another bill to sort out. He had everyone up dancing then inbetween played other great music. He is such a wonderful talented man.
I am waiting for the official pictures and will send you some when I get them.
Kind regards

So easy - he just came in and did his thing, leaving me to run a round doing other stuff
Feedback from my guests have been positive too.

Hi Robyn
Malcolm was a perfect act for my son's wedding. He was set up in plenty of time for the wedding ceremony on a hill in a vineyard on Waiheke. Malcolm's dress was impeccable and he had learnt the special wedding song my son and his wife had requested. Prior to the formal reception Malcolm entertained guests and also for the dancing segment, his voice and music ability for cover songs were great. Thanks so much.

Hi Pete,
I just thought I'd send you an email to let you know Mal McCallum did a fantastic job at our daughters wedding on Saturday. He arrived early, set up quickly and played non-stop on both piano and guitar for the whole 2 hours. His repertoire appealed to everyone and he really did help create a great atmosphere. For us he was the perfoect choice for the day.
Thanks for organising this for us.
Kind regards,
Janet Grierson

Hello Kellie,
Our 60th Birthday Party was very much enjoyed by all, especially the guest of honour!
A big thank you to Malcolm who coped really well with a disorganised venue to begin with and then a power cut in the middle of his performance.
However Malcolm was a true professional and continued to entertain us on his guitar and still managed to perform the special song we had requested.
Malcolm was excellent and our guests really enjoyed his music.
Thank you so much to Malcolm and also to you, for your hand in making the afternoon a success!
I would not hesitate to have Malcolm again to entertain us!
Kindest regards,
Debra Barnett
