Ambush dance crew was established in 2016. They are an Auckland based competitive Hip Hop adult dance crew led by Shenal August and made up of dancers from every corner of Auckland.

Inclusive of members with various talents and backgrounds, we all unite through the passion of dance and expression of creativity so much so they consider themselves family.

Since 2016 Ambush Dance Crew have competed and performed both nationally and internationally, representing New Zealand on numerous occasions - most recently they placed top 10 at the Hip Hop International World Championship 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Their performances are exciting, dynamic and relevant but also family friendly as they have no explicit content in their routines.
