Salut String Quartet are based in Auckland but their capable string players have travelled to perform all over New Zealand and been hired for events as far away as Russell and Invercargill.
Salut string quartet's difference is that their players hold Principal positions in well loved Auckland and National Orchestras and some members are also in demand as solo performers with various New Zealand orchestras performing impressive programmes of music in recitals and public engagements. The quartet's first violinist Harris was a tutor for Auckland String Quartet Summer School in Auckland for 14 String Quartets in 2026.
The String Quartet is the optimal choice for any event in terms of musical interest, balance, colour and range of repertoire however Salut can provide Trios, Duets and Soloists if required.
