Growing up in the cultural capital of Wellington. Terry Liu has been playing guitar for 10 years and has a Bachelor in Applied Arts Majoring in music.
He’s worked with well-known NZ musicians such as Barnaby Weir, Thomas Oliver, Lisa Tomlins, Bella Kalolo, John O’Connor, Drax Project, Mitch James and Kings. He has worked within the NZCT Chamber Music Contest, for a number of years. He also plays in a number of original bands in Wellington and gigs regularly around the wellington region. Terry has wowed local audiences with a unique style of acoustic guitar playing drawing inspiration from Andy Mckee, Tommy Emmanuel, Don Ross, Michael Hedges and other fingerstyle players of similar ilk.
