*screeeeem*
– Set in the 1930’s, guests are encouraged to dress accordingly.
Welcome to a murder... The year is 1930 and you are at the Cottingdale country club. The reason you are here is to see the presentation of Gatters new revolutionary architectural design concept….how ever things are not going to 'plan'.

Lets meet those involved
William Joseph Gatsby - Master Architect
Richard Cornelius Barnshaw - Rival shifty Architect
Sarah Coddington Gatsby - Spiteful Wife of William
Sylvana Natasha Fettuchini - Italian Golf Secretary and a bit of a dish.
Hamilton James Jeffries (Jaffa's) - Bohemian Actor/Magician
Butterworth theButler - Creepy Butler; Need we say more
Something of an odd lot you will agree.

A murder has been committed and it is up to the guests to solve the age old problem of 'Who Dunnit'. There are clue sheets, accusations sheets, odd suspect characters roaming the tables as well as some red herrings...and orange roughies.

Great for a younger audience - This Potty Harry Potter themed murder mystery involves a Wizard detective-like audience and one or two super nutty natural facilitators / guides who run the interactive part the night; adding to the fun and intrigue.

The Harry Potter Mystery provides a unique way to have a fun birthday party with kids, friends and family!
Working in teams; the game players must solve the Murder by sleuthing various clues earnt during the event that will unveil the who, why and when surrounding this unfortunate spell of death.

The Story: Set in Hogwarts Scotland; sadly our beloved Harry Potter has died, presumed murdered. But who would commit such a heinous crime?

All the guests are suspects but there is only one true murderer.

It turns out that jealousy over Harry's Quidditch abilities is a major motivator for the crime. Death by Basilisk venom was the ultimate cause of death, but who delivered the venom? The story has many twists and turns. Harry, hated for his skills but truly loved by one, has become a victim of revenge. Was it someone from Slytherin? Gryffindor? Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff? This story has jealousy, revenge, a baby, magic and murder. One this is for sure. Harry Potter is dead and you won't believe who killed him.

This is suitable for a 13+ audience.

How it works.
Format:
Guests are greeted by hosts setting the scene and presenting suitable Character Name tags. After an introduction and the scene is set, a game is played to create the mood. Team Characters are then divided up to form small groups and a team spokesperson elected.

The game is split into three rounds, In each round the groups have to complete several fun, interactive tasks/quizzes; to earn/win clues. At the end of each round, all are encouraged to trade/beg/sneak clues from members of other teams…this often leads to accusations, good hearted banter and competiveness. After each completed round, team speakers read what their team believes to be the story thus far.

At the games end, after sleuthing through the rounds and clues…comical participation and interaction; Each team, in Best Sherlock fashion, reveal their story version, as to who the murderer is, the why and the how from the cryptic clues earnt.
The correct team or closest; are named the winners and receive their accolades.

It is suggested that the organiser brings fun prizes for the worst and correct answers as well as something for best dressed man and woman. This can add to the fun.
