DJ Trev has been playing Records and now Digital music, to audiences for more than 20 years in both London and Auckland, often catering to audiences who know and love older music.
Growing up in Auckland and also London he was influenced by: 1970s easy / country / classic rock / kiwi rock & disco music, classic Radio Hauraki and 1ZM during the 1980s, British & US pop + dance music from the 1980s – 2000s.
He is happiest and most at home playing a whole range of quality commercial pop and dance music for all age groups from the 1950s right through to the 2000s and today.
DJ Trev believes good DJs have to know their music and be passionate about it. Playing the right song at the right time can lift people and take them really high. Playing the wrong songs will just send them home early! Parties and events can be ruined by a lack-lustre DJ or an un-managed MP3 playlist that doesn't adjust to the mood ...
