The Alibis' sound has been influenced by swing and jump blues combos from the 1950s rhythm and blues era and the neo-swing revival of the late 1990s.

The band worked out really well. The youth that attended where mainly between 15 and 20 years old and they had no problem dancing to the music and it fitted so well with our Swing theme. A number wore swing dresses. We also had a DJ which I think provided a good balance. The band were professional and good to work with.
The web site is great for finding bands and saved heaps of time.
