Soul Timers play soul grooves with some familiar melodies so people can connect with ease as they listen dance or sing along on a familiar line, from James Brown to Bill Withers, you know all the true Legends whose sounds will never die.

Soul Timers are actively involved in varied music projects from TV / Radio to recording and playing live.

Three of the band sold up in Auckland and moved to Paeroa hence the forming of this new band the Soul Timers who have twice Sold Out their recent local gig’s at the Refinery Café in Paeroa plus playing a number of Private Parties.

The band plays house parties and Corperate gigs so keep them in mind when your function is being planned.

Evan Silva was singer for the infamous Soul / Motown band the Action who played resident at the major Auckland City Clubs Top 20 & Galaxie and played a number of C’mon Shows toured then left for Sydneys Whiskey Au Go Go and other Sydney / Melbourne clubs, singing with popular Melbourne band Compulsion and more, he later became a well seasoned Session Singer back in Auckland / Wellington doing vocals for many top Advertising Agents like Saachi & Saachi and his voice is It’s Moments Like These You Need Minties, KFC, McDonalds, AMP, Toyota, Smith's Crips, Popsicle band etc.

Jack Stradwick was then the Bass player for the Action and he went on to join Headband and a number of other popular groups in Australia playing with Barry Leef and other NZ artists and he is well respected in both countries.

Paul Lee was known for his Auckland based band Cruise Lane which saw a number of changes over the years, yet Paul was an anchor man for them playing keys and sax, again a reputable player and name in the scene.

Paul Woolright was the bass player for the extremely hipdelic 70s band Ticket who still have a following today, and then he moved on to being bass player for Hello Sailor who are still pulling crowds now under the name of The Remnants, they made and left a huge legacy within the history of NZ music.

Lance Bentley - Drums, comes from a very musical family, and has been involved in the music industry playing night clubs, bars, and shows throughout New Zealand for many years.

He has played with many of our great musicians and entertainers from Billy T James to Nathan Haines. Lance has also worked overseas on shows in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Australia, Hawaii and Samoa.
