Type: Covers Band
The HIPNOTICS present a non stop high energy live performance that will have the dance floor pumping with pop, soul and rock classics, plus 80s hits, and a smattering of the best dance songs from the past 30 years. The repertoire is vast, tried and true, and expertly delivered, and their sound is second to none!
The HIPNOTICS feature leading Kiwi vocalist Christina Cusiel. Christina’s career includes several years fronting the ever popular all girl show band, the BEAT GIRLS (she is also their vocal coach). Christina was the lead role in the musical SPELLING BEE at the end of 2008, and was recently described as 'brilliant' in her hilarious portrayal of Cleopatra in the hit musical ROME. She is one of the only NZ singers to be invited to sing on the main stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival, where she performed as a nineteen year old. Her voice is sensational and combined with her talents as a natural entertainer, presents one of NZ’s most gifted performers.
David Greer is a lead singer and guitarist who brings with him a wealth of experience and fine ability. He has worked for many years throughout Australia and NZ as a solo one man band entertainer winning the solo entertainer award at the AIWA Music Awards in 1998. He has also been the front man and musical director of numerous top professional bands during the past decade.

We were delighted with David & his team - Many thanks for your organizing and follow up .
We would recommend the Hipnotics very highly . Until next time …. I have another daughter !!!
Thanks again Mandy McMaster
I wanted to drop you a note to (formally) thank you for a truly fantastic performance from the Hipnotics at my 50th Do at Prefab Hall last night.
I stopped counting the number of people that came up to me during the night to say how fantastic the band were - and in the next breath what an amazing singer and perfomer the lead singer (Christina) is.
It has been a similar theme this morning. I have received numerous texts and emails from friends saying what a great night they had and, without exception, everyone has mentioned the band.
I was pretty confident that the band would be good, as my husband Matt is a musician and did a bit of research choosing them. However they far exceeded both Matt and my expectations. They really made the party - and I now have very sore feet from dancing.
In short, the Hipnotics are a class act and they are an absolute credit to your agency.
Cheers and thanks
Thanks for your message.
The band was great, and the folk who stayed on to dance to them had a blast!
We had a lot of older folk at the dinner who left a little earlier than expected, but the band did a great job of closing the night.
Please pass on my thanks and regards to them.
Thanks for your email. Everything was great, and the band was fantastic.
