Beautiful melodious Jazzy male vocals mixed with the passionate Spanish/Classical guitar, seasoned with Cavaquinho / Percussion and the intoxicating drum rhythms of Brazil teaming up with the Cuban flavour to add a spicy Caribbean twist. Add to that the finesse of the american tradition of Jazz Saxophone to put the Icing on the cake.
Ge Luz: Professional Singer Song-writer for over 10 years in the competitive environment of Sao Paulo (one of the worlds largest cities), Ge has recorded his first solo album just a few years ago. In New Zealand Ge has recorded a sound track for an upcoming TVNZ original series.
Ricky de Medeiros: Guitarist with over 15 years career, who is in demand on the instrumental music scene, as a soloist, and as a band member or accompanist. Ricky has performed Spanish and Classical guitar pieces in numerous festivals in NZ (Music in the Parks, International Culture, Festival of Roses), Weddings and high end Corporate gigs. Ricky also performed live on TVNZ with the singer Yulia.
Ernesto Zuñiga: Multi-Instrumentalist, graduated musician from Cuba has a command over a variety of Latin music styles. Has performed on Live TV in Australia and has been highly active on the live music scene in Sydney and Auckland. Has a following amongst the salsa dancers community.
Herbert Souza: Professional Percussionist for over a decade, Herbert has studied in some of Brazil finest music schools. He also has a degree in audio engineering and has toured in such capacity with some of Brazil big household names.
Miguel BD: This Carioca has been performing professionally for over 15 years. He was Carnival Champion twice with Unidos da Vila Isabel. He is such a respected musician he has had wrote songs for massively well know National Samba artists such as Martinho da Vila and Diogo Nogueira. He performed on his own band "Sambai" for 7 years and he's been part of "Preta Gil" Band, another samba celebrity, for 4 years.
Fred Baker: Saxophone performer for over thirty years in the US and New Zealand, Fred started studying piano, cello and contrabass in kansas in the usa at age 9. Later, he developed an interest in jazz fusion and moved to saxophone, the tenor and soprano being his weapons of choice. He successfully audition to the well known show band The Spurrlows out of Orlando Florida, led by Thurrlow Spurr. Fred went along on a tour that covered the eastern part of the US and asia.
In NZ, Fred broadened out to play with other bands, including the long time south auckland r&b band 20/20.
