Kevin now splits his time between New Zealand, Australia and the USA. He is truly been one of NZ’s most successful exports and after 14 years he has decided to spend more time in New Zealand where he wants to pass on the knowledge he has gained in both the recording and performing arenas. In fact the The Variety Artist of NZ, who run NZ’s Entertainment Industry Awards, Kevin received the Top Male Artist, and the coveted “Agnew Award” for Best Professional Live Entertainer, which is an award voted on by all other NZ Entertainers. An industry award well sought after. These add to the Comedy Award of 2008. Yes he also includes a lot of comedy in his act, just goes to prove what a well rounded entertainer Kevin is. 2016 he received the “Living Legend Award” on Face TV.
Kevin was asked for the 2nd time, to be one of the support acts for Super Star Kenny Rogers on his tour down-under, Feb 2015.
A tremendous hit as one of the featured Stars on the 2008 Highway of Legends Touring Show, “He truly stole the show each night” said Gray Bartlett. “His 15 years in the tough USA and Nashville scene have moved Kevin to a new level as an entertainer, this shone through and he proved to be the hit of the show.”
Kevin is one of a handful of International Artists that have had the honour to perform at the World Famous Grand Ole Opry.
A native of Auckland New Zealand, Kevin is one of 14 children born to top country recording artist, the late Rusty Greaves. He performed on-stage at the age of five and started his professional career at the age of 14 yrs. Before moving to Nashville TN in 1993, he was one of New Zealand’s busiest and most popular entertainers.

In 1995 Kevin was lucky enough to score 2 songs in the Nashville Charts. “I’m Not Scared of Women” #15, “Hurtin’ To The Bone” #4. Which enabled him to get many opening spots and support tours, with some amazing artists like,

Kevin has been pretty busy with recording. Since recording his first album with Peter Van Gent on a little 8 track reel to reel in the back of his music shop, he has gone on to make 11 Nashville recorded albums. The latest of them are a tribute to his father and the influence he received from both listening to him, his radio and record collection. “Daddy’s Radio” part 1 and 2. There is also “The Best of Kevin Greaves” a selection of the most popular songs from all his previous CD’s plus 3 new songs and a duet recorded with his father before he passed away.
Kevin has always wanted to do a duets album. His record company wanted to do a Christmas album. His wife said why don’t you combine the 2. So, the latest release is a CD of 20 songs all with duets with famous Kiwi’s like, Eddie Low, Gray Bartlett, Brendan Dugan, Suzanne Lynch, Jodi Vaughan, Tom Sharplin, Shane, Dennis Marsh, Marian Burns, Chris Powley, James Ray, Brendon Ham, Guy Cater, plus some family. With all your favourite Christmas songs, and a couple of new ones. The last song Mary’s Boychild, features the whole cast, and is something pretty special.

We had a fantastic evening, Kevin kept the party going well into the night, keeping the crowd engaged and entertained, from the young adults, to my parents in their eighties. He not only is a talented musician and singer, but is a very funny comedian, and had the crowd in stitches. I have had nothing but positive comments from those who attended, and would recommend Kevin to anyone. The sound was superb as well, balanced enough to be able to talk without shouting at each other, but loud enough to dance and sing to. He turned our party into an event that we will remember for a long time.

I honestly had no expectations going into the night I just found your website and basically booked the first act that was available that I thought would fit our staff crowd.
But on the night we were all blown away with how talented and funny Kevin was, it complete transformed our basic Xmas function into a completely entertaining and hilarious night that every single person thoroughly enjoyed. In simple terms I couldn’t be for pleased, Kevin was simply brilliant.
