The Wild Clovers is a duo playing Irish / celtic rock music.
Paul plays guitar, mandolin and sings. Penny is a master on keyboards and adds variety to their music with touches of percussion, harmony and is even know to bring out the bagpipes when required!
The duo is Tauranga based but happy to travel.
A three - four piece Irish band option may be available in the local Tauranga area only. They are an energetic Irish band who play Celtic Rock through to the traditional well-loved songs, and toe tapping tunes.
The 3 piece band is:
Paul Hoggard: guitar, mandolin, lead vocals.
Penny Rowsell-Hoggard: bodhran, penny whistle, bvs, piano, keyboard, bagpipes, accordion,
Julie Cunningham: fiddle, vocals, keyboard
The Wild Clovers have performed at cafe's, pubs, festivals, RSA's and weddings in and around the North Island.
Ideal for: dance music for corporate function, private party, wedding, or theme setting music for Celtic Irish event

Pete, they were perfect. They were polite and respectful, and played exactly the kind of music we were after. They created a fun environment for every one on the dance floor. The perfect Celtic theme choice.
Thank you very much for making the process easy and I'll absolutely be passing on my recommendation to friends and family.
Cheers

Hi Pete
The Wild Clovers were excellent and very well received by all that attended; regrettably, the numbers were a lot less than we had hoped - the whole town was in fact quiet and we were the only venue still open at 10:30pm!

Hi Robyn,
Sorry about the delayed reply - I wanted to take the time to write a review for The Wild Clovers.
We were thrilled with the band and their professionalism and I was also very happy with the Booking process and communication with Pete McGregor Entertainment, I found this seamless and hassle free, thanks.
I would like to submit the following review which you may want to add to their profile on your website and I have emailed it to the band also:
'I hired The Wild Clovers for my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. Paul and Penny are thoroughly talented and were at all times professional and flexible – they have a diverse repertoire of songs and were happy to tailor their set to suit our occasion. They went above and beyond to make the night special for the happy couple.'
Thanks again and kind regards,
Tracey Egerton
Hi, Can we just say that the WILD CLOVERS were fantastic and my wife really enjoyed the band, It was a surprise 50th birthday for her in Whakatane and the WILD CLOVERS just made the night go off. The Party was a great success and the band were great. Very impressed I was and most of our guests remarked on how well they played. The time went to fast.
My wife loved the Penny Whistle playing and the songs they played, Well done.
We would book the WILD CLOVERS again ,
Many thanks again.
