Collins
Tracey is a
professional accordion entertainer, working out of Auckland. She
first became interested in the accordion at the age of six, and
commenced tuition shortly thereafter. She have been working as a
professional musician / entertainer for the last 12 years.
Some achievements in Tracey’s
career include:
Three time New Zealand Open
Electrical Champion – for modified Accordion.
Member of the internationally renowned Air New Zealand Accordion
Orchestra that toured Europe in 1996.
Performed on & released my first CD (1998) – “Bon
Jour Paris”
Finalist on McDonalds Young Entertainer Television talent show.
(1000 auditioned).
Session Musician on several albums recorded in Auckland.
Own Composition featured on “Mataku” Television programme.
Special Guest Appearance with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra at
the Last night of the Proms. 2008
Guest appearance/ interview on Radio Live with Marcus Lush 2009
Tracey also plays in a group called
Tango 55 and has many
other musicians that she can play with suiting any occasion.
Tracey has also undertaken extra
work on shows such as Street Legal, Shortland Street, and has also
appeared on a Television commercial for Yates New Zealand Limited
and fronted a 4 month campaign with the Yellow Pages building a
Treehouse restaurant.
In addition, Tracey also performs
regularly with an Irish / Covers Band – “Sleight Of
Hand” playing a range of contemporary and Celltic Rock &
covers material. (Accordion player and vocalist)

Retirement villages etc.
