The Outlaws are undoubtedly among the cream of New Zealands Country-Rock acts today, with a fine pedigree of musicians involved throughout the last 20 years of the N.Z. Country music scene. The unique thing is that they are all a family…..the   WALLACE family,   father Jim and three sons – Jim Jnr          bass, vocals Robert        drums, vocals Alex          guitars, vocals. Jim Snr,   guitar, harmonica, vocals,  Jim has written the bands new original album  ‘Jim Wallace & Sons’ which was produced by  youngest son Alex. The group appeared recently on the ‘Mary Lambie’ show and work together now full time performing their own style of hot Country with some Rock & Roll when necessary!The Boys have travelled as a group in their own right, or as members of other line-ups to the U.S., Canada, Australia and of course all over New Zealand, performing in shows including Johnny Cash, Tom Jones, Johnny Tillotson, Susan Raye, Gray Bartlett, Brendan Dugan, Jodi Vaughan, Suzanne Prentice, Tom Sharplin, Patsy Riggir, & Ritchie Pickett.

The OUTLAWS are established in Northland, New Zealand and are armed and ready to come out of their hideout anytime!!!!!

We play a rather large repertiore across many genre so for this one we will do our regular weekly routine that seems to be keeping us busy every week up here at the moment: start: johnny cash, country ballads, kenny rogers, bellamy brothers, early beatles middle: Clapton, other guitar bluesy, a little irish pogues, rock and roll, Doors end: kiwi rock - sailor - dobbyn - dragon - stones, U2 (more Irish upbeat if required (I sing it you see) then guest singers (if anyone is keen) Finale: usually a Scottish farewell - a rip roaring guitar solo from one of NZ's top players Alex Wallace
