THE HIPNOTICS
The HIPNOTICS present a
non stop high energy live performance that will have the dance
floor pumping with pop, soul and rock classics, plus 80s hits,
and a smattering of the best dance songs from the past 30 years.
The repertoire is vast, tried and true, and expertly delivered,
and their sound is second to none!
The HIPNOTICS feature leading Kiwi vocalist
Christina Cusiel. Christina’s career includes several years
fronting the ever popular all girl show band, the BEAT GIRLS (she
is also their vocal coach). Christina was the lead role in the
musical SPELLING BEE at the end of 2008, and was recently described
as 'brilliant' in her hilarious portrayal of Cleopatra in the
hit musical ROME. She is one of the only NZ singers to be invited
to sing on the main stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival, where
she performed as a nineteen year old. Her voice is sensational
and combined with her talents as a natural entertainer, presents
one of NZ’s most gifted performers.
David Greer is a lead singer and guitarist
who brings with him a wealth of experience and fine ability. He
has worked for many years throughout Australia and NZ as a solo
one man band entertainer winning the solo entertainer award at
the AIWA Music Awards in 1998. He has also been the front man
and musical director of numerous top professional bands during
the past decade.
