Peter Te Kani is a solo performer based in Gisborne, with an excellent sound, good equipment, transport and attitude who enjoys performing all genre of music. He has a wide range of music to suit most occasions including jazz, swing, blues, reggae, rock n roll, country, and rock. The style of music he plays is more suited to Cosmopolitan clubs. Peter lives in Gisborne and is available to travel and perform anywhere in the country if required. He has worked and performed with many New Zealand artists including Sir Howard Morrison, The Maori Volcanics, Ray Columbus, Shane, Chick Littlewood, and has lived in and performed at many venues around the Auckland area for twenty years before moving home to Gisborne. These include a two year residency at the Logan Park hotel in Mt Wellington, the Duke of Wellington and most venues within south Auckland including Howick, the central city and north shore. Hamilton, Kauerau and Rotorua. Since returning home to Gisborne, Peter established a small home studio, recorded 9 albums for local artists created jingles for local radio and performed in the local RSA , Cosi club, Rugby clubs and 2ndclubs.
