Oamaru DJ & Pro Audio, Owned & operated by Malcolm Anderson (aka MalcolmA) has been providing quality DJ entertainment for Events, Licensed Premises, Weddings and Other Private functions in North Otago, South Canterbury, & Central South Island since 2005.
With over 8 years experience as a DJ, and 5 years experience in weddings and private functions, MalcolmA has the competence and know-how, to ensure you and your guests have the best time possible. His DJ experience spans from school dances, to nightclubs, to raves and dance parties. He has spent time working in numerous related areas, including radio, the electrical trade, audio production, DJ Tutoring, and as a sound technician. Whether your function is mainly catering for an older crowd, or a younger party; You can be assured you will be entertained with a smoothly mixed platter of hit music that’s bound to have you and your friends up on the dance floor, dancing all night under the intelligent lighting system.

Services offered:
· Music appropriate to your occasion, and tastes & preference of yourself and your guests
· We will discuss your music preferences and other requirements well before your big day, and sound and lighting system is set up prior to your guests arriving.
· A tidy, professional looking setup; you go to great lengths to make the venue look nice. So do I.
· The volume and genres of music are totally your call. I welcome feedback and requests from your guests through the night, but ultimately it’s up to you.
· Industry standard equipment - meaning you are getting both an experienced DJ, and quality, reliable equipment for your important occasion.
· The sound system can offer anything from gentle background music over dinner, to well balanced & high quality nightclub levels with nice deep bass.
· A wireless mic is provided for your speeches so your guests can hear the formal part of the evening with clarity.
· Supplied for every function will be an intelligent lighting system including top quality units made by Martin. Often seen in leading nightclubs, Martin’s moving/colour changing lighting fixtures provide the atmosphere that just makes people want to dance.
· Lighting can be scaled up or down, depending on your requirements, anywhere from subtle moving lights, to a mind-blowing full colour laser show.
· Solutions for your wedding ceremony sound are available as an add-on package.
