Lex Calder
Lex is a familiar face on the Auckland Pipe Band scene and a current member of the Auckland Police Pipe Band.

Lex performed with the band in Scotland at the 2007 Edinburgh Military Tattoo and has been invited to return to the 2009 Tattoo.

With many years piping experience he has been stirring emotions and bringing Scottish flair to all engagements wearing his “Campbell of Cawdor” tartan.
Lex has an extensive repertoire of appropriate tunes to cover any occasion, is always open to suggestions and is happy to discuss your requirements.

Lex can also arrange for a quartet ( 3 pipers & a drummer ) if required.

Lex was AMAZING...He even helped me work out the timing and logistics of coming down the aisle i.e giving me options such as leading me in or simply being off to the side and playing whilst I walked down the aisle. In the end I chose to have him leading myself and the bridal party in and WOAH did it have an epic feeling.

He was lovely, helpful and above all extremely talented, alot of my friends began crying as soon as he started playing lol

He was also extremely professional, please let him and anyone looking to book him know that he was perfect!
