Larry Morris is New Zealand's greatest rock 'n roll singer. Note the use of the present tense. Time was, Larry and his Rebels trashed New Zealand - and some of Australia - from end to end, both musically and in the other ways beloved of rock 'n roll tradition, breaking attendance records and scattering albums and hit singles along the way; then Larry left us for a while, eventually surfacing in Los Angeles, and while he was gone a few claimants to his crown came and along, each carving out his own well deserved following. But Larry never really left his beloved New Zealand behind, and he never left rock ' roll either, as you'll hear on his albums bonus track, where aided by some of L. A.'s finest, he takes a rock to one of our most loved pop anthems. There's rock - and there's rock 'n roll, an attitude to a song and to life. Larry is and always has been a rock 'n roller - and like all the other greats, he's also a great romantic. When you hear Larry Morris backed by some of New Zealand's hottest musicians, you're hearing the past, the present and the future of New Zealand rock 'n roll music.

Yes the event was absolutely fantastic. Everyone said is was the best function we had ever held. The Larry Morris band were superb. and Susy (Suzanne Lee as Helen Clark) gave an outstanding performance. We managed to keep her appearance secret to the end and she arrived at the venue to the sounds of a police siren and flashing blue light. I'm sure about 80% thought it was Helen Clark. Thanks for all your efforts it has been great to deal with such a professional organisation. We will be using you again that's for sure. In fact we are having a meeting tomorrow to finalise the show for variety show for our open day in September. I will be in touch tomorrow hopefully to confirm acts.
