Jazzabelle features the sultry voice of Mira Lacey, backed by an exciting array of Waikato's finest musicians. Mira graduated with honours in vocal performance from Berklee College of Music, in Boston, one of the world's leading institutions for jazz education. She has performed for many years in the USA. Mira normaly works with a rhythm section of keyboards and acoustic bass using top Waikato musicians. However this group can be enhanced with drums and trumpet player if it suits client and event. Jazzabelle's repertoire is a carefully chosen variety of jazz and popular standards from the 30's and 40's swing through to Norah Jones ballads. Easy listening jazz that creates a wonderfully relaxed ambience for your special occasion.

Hi,
I was going to email you anyway. The performance was outstanding – Mira has a beautiful voice and the choice of music was perfect for the occasion – lovely jazz but all very accessible to young and old, jazz lovers and not. I was particularly pleased that Craig spotted my piano when he arrived and decided to play that instead of keyboard – it was worth the effort of shifting it across the room!
It really made my party very special.
