Jazz Inspired
Jazz Inspired is a Whangarei-based sextet consisting of alto and tenor sax, trumpet and rhythm section (guitar, drums and bass). Horn players also play flute, clarinet, soprano sax and flugelhorn as required. They play a range of jazz ranging from Dixie to swing, latin to bebop, jazz-rock, funk and jazz standards as well as original material written especially for the group. A lot of their music is arranged for the 3 horns giving a "min big band" sound to the combo
