Guy Cater

Guy Cater is a Kiwi, born and raised in Howick and now lives with his two teenage daughters in Titirangi. He has been performing professionally for over 20 years beginning his show business career as a children's magic clown ... Happy the Hobo, then moving into compere and comedy work. He gained a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy in 1980 but decided that that lifestyle was not for him and began using his hypnotic skills within his Comedy Act and then into a full evening show.

1992: Most Versatile Entertainer Award from the 'Inside Entertainment' magazine
1993: The Reilly Comedy Award
1995: The Golden Benny ... The most prestigious and highest Award of The New Zealand Variety Artists Club.
1997: Awarded Life Membership of Variety Artists Club and inducted into their Hall of Fame

Magic and Mirth
Stand-Up Comedy is one of Guy Cater's favourite acts. He has the ability to entertain at all different functions ... from top corporate cocktail parties to the local rugby club. As a Comedian Guy knows the boundaries and never goes beyond them. He uses jokes and gags, some adult comedy magic and hilarious 'social comment' in his act.
Guy performs a 1/2 hour to 3/4 hour magic spot for your event

Thanks for the follow up. As far as I am aware the client really enjoyed the show. I wasn't onsite personally so can't give much more feedback I am afraid.
