Grant P Chilcott
singer, bandleader and recording artist, also known as Wentworth Brewster, has for some considerable time, dedicated himself to the consummate of entertainment. From boyhood talent-quest winner right through to international performer G.P. has appeared in his inimitable style, either live or through the mediums of television, radio and compact disc, to thousands of people.

People can trust Grant Chilcott- his music is impeccable his taste the same. He provides music for dancing pleasure as well as listening pleasure and his repertoire is well nigh without limit.

No matter what the setting, the music of Grant Chilcott's ensembles are an integral part of the scene. Again and again the genial leader has provided his three to ten piece bands to lend harmony and grace to the scene.

Since his early teenage years Grant has been learning the songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin Tony Bennett and their contemporaries.

His playlist of 'classic' songs is headed by the masters of cool Gershwin, Porter, Arlen, Coward plus many others to a total repertory of over 2,000. All gathered from the 1920's, 30's, 40's,50's with an occasional infusion from the 60's and 70's.

Though Chilcott doesn't deny the popularity of other forms of music, he is firm in his attachment to that large sector of the public which craves old-fashioned romance and enjoys well-crafted songs.

Grant is available solo with backing tracks or with bands ranging from a duo (Grant and piano) through a quartet, quintet and ten piece. The size of the band varies according to your requirements and budget

Following a visit to Cuba in the late 1980's and meeting with musicians in Havana, Grant formed this band which performs authentic Latin American styles for dancing and listening pleasure: romantic boleros, rhumbas, beguines and bossa nova to hot and spicy salsa, cha cha cha, tango and samba. Their playlist includes the hits of Prez Prado, Sergio Mendes, Tito Puente, Harry Belafonte and Herb Alpert.

Splendidly attired in colorful frilled jackets a la Tropicanca the ensemble creates an atmosphere of gaiety.
