Frank Durant
Franks professionalism and easy going manner with all types of audience has been gained through many years of experience and hard work in the Australian and UK music scenes.

Frank was lead vocalist/guitarist and front man with successful Brisbane based bands “SILENT PASSENGER” and critically acclaimed “POETIC LICENCE.” Both bands enjoyed great popularity in the grueling Queensland and New South Wales touring circuit between 1984 and 1990. POETIC LICENCE headed their own shows as well as supporting acts such as James Reyne; Joe Camalleri and the Black Sorrows, Kids in the Kitchen, Martha Davis and the Motels and Kiwi acts Marc Hunter and Sharon O’Neil amongst others.

Frank has worked solo for a number of years since 1990 in Australia, London and New Zealand. He is backed by a Midi System using Notater Software, and this gives his performance a full sound, enhancing his vocals and guitar.

Repertoire includes popular hits from 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s plus background music
