ABOUT THE BAND:
Four piece party band hailing from Wellington and featuring an excellent line up of highly talented full time professional musicians: Geoff Hern; lead vocals/bass (Backdoor Blues Band/Inferno/The Works/Tom Jones Tribute), Michael Petrie; lead vocals/lead guitar (Get Back With The Beatles/Mod Squad/SLAM), David Greer lead vocals/guitars/harmonica (The Troubadors/Greenhouse/ABBA Addiction, Aiwa Music Awards Solo Artist Award 1998) and Andrew Richardson; drums (De Ja Blue).

FLY BY NIGHT play classic hits and popular songs (see the setlist below) drawn from an excellent repertoire played and sung in spectacular fashion. This is a 'real band' in the traditional sense i.e. no computer backings; no pre recorded singing, just simple top line talent from four gifted musician/singers. FLY BY NIGHT will make your wedding, office party or event, a fondly remembered one. Please note that one of the demo songs downloadable is an original song written and sung by David and recorded by the band. There is also a demo of Michael singing a medley and also one of Geoff singing live excerts from his Tom Jones show at the Sound Shell during the Summer City Festival.

PLAYING TIMES:
FLY BY NIGHT’S standard performance times are 3 sets over 3 hours including two 15 minute rest breaks (pre recorded break music is played during these 2 breaks).
Four hour performances are also available with the first hour being background music (duo of David and Geoff ) - but be ready to dance because FLY BY NIGHT love playing and have been known to do 2 hour sets without a break!

SETTING UP OF EQUIPMENT ETC:
FLY BY NIGHT provide all the required equipment i.e. instruments, Mackie Pro sound system and stage lighting – this is all included in their fee (i.e. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN COSTS). They can also supply a cordless microphone if required and staging. All the equipment is set up and sound checked well before the guests arrive and all the arrangements for that are organised directly between the band and the venue manager.

Once you have booked FLY BY NIGHT, there is nothing more to do except get excited about the fun that you and your guests are going to have enjoying the awesome sounds of FLY BY NIGHT
