Our mission is simple - to fill the dance floor and for fun to be had by all.
d’Groove is a 12 piece band catering to all ages of party goers. Our repertoire is continually expanding, including favourites from last century as well as today’s contemporary Pop/Rock songs. As well as dance music we can also provide easy listening music over dinner and cocktails to cover all aspects at your party or event!
d’Groove is one of the few party/covers bands in the Auckland region with such a large line up of musicians, with 5 singers doing both lead and backing vocals, a 3 piece horn section, percussion, drums as well as sequenced drum parts and an energetic rhythm section.
The band consists of musicians from different walks of life, both young and old, drawn largely from the Auckland community. The varied backgrounds and musical tastes of the band members have resulted in a broad and eclectic mix of danceable tunes from all genres. Certain to please audiences of all ages and cultures, and ensure a packed dance floor. Band members have been chosen for their ability to work as a team, inspire each other and bring to the table professionalism, expertise and years of musical experience.
Fun is serious stuff, so there has been NO compromise in our quest to bring you the fullest and funkiest party band possible.
