The Travellers are a tight four-piece cover band that have been playing together for many years. Their sound is a collective mix of old and new and they love to keep an audience dancing with their extensive playlist of classic hits from across the years.
The band also offer a twist, If you would like Country, Celtic and Irish material on the setlist, Hobnail's vocalist and fiddler, Jo Moir can be added to the line-up for a small additional fee.
Their captivating on-stage presence means these guys are just as suited to festivals as they are playing intimate gigs. Their spirit and dedication along with their love of music and years of experience bring a high level of professional entertainment to your event.
Rob, Hamish and Caroline are all members of acclaimed Wellington folk band HOBNAIL.
Rob and Hamish form two-thirds of the alternative-country trio "The Shot Band". Caroline performs regularly with "The Warratahs" front man Barry Saunders, and has been an integral member of NZ bands "The Spines", "The Verlaines" and "The Chills". In 2013 Alan joined them to form TRAVELLERS to create a sound dedicated to entertaining audiences at festivals, house gigs, weddings and functions.

The Travellers can also appear as duo. This can be the perfect solution for smaller events, or where budget or space is an issue. Rob and Hamish regularly perform so theirs is a tight professional performance.
A sound system is provided by the band supporting an audience of up to 300 people. A basic lighting system is also provided.
