Carolina Moon
The versatile Carolina Moon is a chanteuse with a difference. She is known for leading one of the top jazz groups in NZ, and her wonderful facility in a range of languages, she translates to the stage.

With a songlist of over 300 songs at her fingertips, Carolina and her group will tailor their performance to suit your event and mood. From:

· superlative background soundscape
· spotlight performances
· classic, elegant jazz with a contemporary edge
· flavours of French chanson
· spicy Spanish and Latin American rhythms
· dance grooves

Line up: She performs as a 2, 3, 4 or 5 piece. Her 4 and 5 piece feature partner and leading saxophonist Roger Manins.

Carolina Moon performs extensively in New Zealand, the Pacific and Australasia. She was raised on the London jazz scene before moving to Australia, and has also performed in India and in China. Roger Manins spent several years in New York before heading to Australia where he remains in demand as one of their top saxophonists. Carolina features on many CDs. Her Australian debut CD, The Shaman's Kiss was a finalist in the Australian Jazz Awards 03. East of the Sun was released in NZ in April 07 to critical acclaim and is the first CD to feature the sublime partnership of Carolina Moon and Roger Manins and The Carolina Moon Jazz Group. Mother Tongue is due for release March 2011.
