Remaining true to the music and embracing an ever increasing popularity, Brendon Ham, the quintessential contemporary urban Honky-Tonker along with his band “the Brendon Ham Band” are regarded as New Zealand’s greatest premier Honky-Tonk unit with their own brand of hard-hitting rockin’-country music.

Being finalists in the prestigious 2011 Tui’s-NZ Music Awards-Best Country Music Album, a highlight for the band and along with winning the “2008 Variety Artists of New Zealand Top Group Award”, Brendon was also a nominee for both the “2008 Variety Artists of New Zealand Top Male Performer” and the “2010 Male Artist of the Year” at the NZ Country Music Awards last year.

Performing regularly at a wide variety of functions, festivals and events, Brendon was thrilled and proud to be performing on the recent iconic “Highway of Legends National Tour” alongside the greats of New Zealand country music. Brendon has performed and works with many of New Zealand’s top artists and has opened with his band for legendary USA country recording artist Charley Pride.

With the recent release of the new “Brendon Ham Band” album “the Live-Demo’s”, Brendon also has his own compositions used in the NZ feature film “The China Cup”.

Brendon Ham and Back to Basix put on an excellent show at Cockle Bay on Sunday 28th March. They were easy to work with, the sound was great and crowd pleasers all round. Had some feedback from the audience about how much they enjoyed the band's performance and music, so well done and a big thank you to them.
