The Benson Brothers

Jazz Trio

Wellington Area

The Benson Brothers

The Benson Brothers is a professional jazz trio based in Wellington.
Playing a mixture of jazz standards and more open jazz forms, we focus on giving our music an old-school charm, simplicity and warmth.

The instrumentation of the trio; saxophone, double bass, and drums. Having no “chordal” instrument creates space, which lends to the trio’s playfulness, making the music so exciting to be around. But, we do also have the option of adding a pianist, if requested.

We play regularly at Mojo Coffee, Bond Street café, in Wellington and have brought our music to plenty of weddings and corporate functions. Have a listen to our live recordings to see if we are the right band for your next event.

Maximum performance time: 5 hours

Ideal for: Background for corporate function, product release, pre ball party
