Q4 were formed in 2006 and are a versatile and highly experienced 3 piece group from Auckland.
Hook are happy performing any type function, whether it be for corporate, weddings, bars, parties or special events.
Hook can play at your function as a pop/rock band, an acoustic group for those mellower occasions or a little of each. Pop, rock, reggae, top 40, light jazz and even Celtic music can be added to the set to suit your event.

Hook's acoustic material is varied and ranges from the usual rock, pop, top 40, reggae. to jazz, blues, Irish and soul. In other words practically every genre is covered. With 3 vocalists, acoustic guitars, mandolin, acoustic bass and various percussion the sound is full, rich, and harmonious enough to grab your ya ya's like the usual performances. A must for the more laid back functions, Thursday nights, Sunday afternoons or anytime you want just the right background music for your venue or function.
Hook can play 3 to 4 hours acoustically or provide you with a short set prior to any activities that may follow and later bring on their Party time set for you to dance away well into the small hours. Hook can add that special touch to your next function.

The band was very good. They played for a long period of time and we enjoyed it. Due to the nature of the venue the guys were outside chainsmoking so not as much dancing done but I would recommend them.

Thanks for arranging the entertainment for our recent Honours night. We had a lot of feedback from people saying how much they enjoyed the music and the evening. Q4 did a sterling job of keeping everyone entertained with a great mix of music to appeal to everyone.

We had a fantastic time with Q4, they were seriously seriously a great band, our wedding crowd were dancing all night and even now people are still raving about them.
We have had two guests who are getting married in the near future ask us for their name and contact details.
We HIGHLY recommend this band for any wedding or party!!!
